Boma state authority worried that
fighting could spreads to other part of the state if no intervention from the
national government he added.
Minister said number of those
killed in the clashes is yet to be established.
However, Ayuen Guet Roor the
spokesperson of Jonglei state youths has denied that they did not enter to Boma
state territory or launch any attack against Boma state and calling un-verified
information.
Saying, that causation is
unjustified, we did attack Boma state, we are in our border town of Pan-Mach
Bol in Anyindi county of Jonglei state Ayuen added.
Ayuen said they have assembled
at the border town asked Boma state authority to collect and return cattle’s
and children abducted in Bor, Twice East and Duk counties before they cross to
Boma state territory.
But information Achuan John said, we
have collected 35 heads of cattle, and we want to return them to Jonglei state.
We are working hard to return the cattle, but they did not give us the chance.
The civilians keeping cattle are not around, they are in far areas like
Kongkong and Jom because of the dry season”, he said.
“The youth of Jonglei had taken law into their hands, they had gone back again to Boma state to collect their stolen heads of cattle on their own. They had not respected Boma state authorities who were trying to collect and return their cattle," Labele said Monday.
