Bor, May 6, 2017 (Jonglei Times)-At least 11 people were killed and two others were
wounded along Juba-Bor highway eyewitness told Jonglei Times on phone at
Terekake-Jonglei states border.
The Toyota land-cruiser was travelling from Juba to
Bor loaded with more than fifteen passengers in the afternoon of Friday its
fall into ambushed at Game area.
9 killed people were on Toyota land cruiser and two
others wounded.
The same day bus was attack and one person shoot
dead and one sustained serious injuries.
Separately, three people were footing of which they were
attacks and one of them was killed and two others wounded and its bring total
number of those killed to 11 and four wounded.
According to an eyewitness he said the ambush was
laid by Mundari tribesmen of which one of them was killed and he was identify
as Mundarians with traditional mark on his forehead.
The highway attack’s has been obtainable for decades
and it has led to lose of several lives between the two communities.
However, many peace deal has been reach to bring the
two communities of Mundari and the Dinka Bor together but many of them has
failed.
Jonglei Times was unable to reach both Jonglei and
Terekake states authorities for comment.
