Bor, May 7, 2017 (Jonglei Times)- I am taking this opportunity to thank you Mr. President for your untimely intervention. It's a duty of every concerned president to ensure that every citizen lives in a secured place.

Mr. President, i am not interested in your intervention into Bor Murlei affairs. Not now. As a youth, whose siblings have been abducted and a mum killed, i won't be part of your decision for the following reasons.
1.      Murlei criminal acts against Dinka Bor have been long ignored by your administration. And I fail to understand how you took it for.

2.      You seem to be undermining the general feeling of the bereaved Bor youths. Why does Bor retaliation make you form an investigating committee when you kept mum when the attacks leading to the current skirmishes were executed?

3.      In your committee, i heard that David Yau Yau, is a "member".
I think you aren't dreaming. I don't think suck kind of jokes find any place in my mood.
4.      Mr. President, how do you take us for? For you to have a gut to decree a sponsor of Bor enemies, the guy who arms his Murlei criminals with national defence military equipments, to kill innocent women and abduct children,to set put in Bor and investigate how his people successfully executed his wish against our people, it is an indication that you've taken our loyalty for granted.

5.      4. Mr. President, as the youth of this community, we've realised that the kids that were abducted in Bor are not as that important to you as your Tiger Battalion. You wanted them gone and turned against their very own relatives in future as it is the norm with your Murlei Tribe. Tell me Mr. President. What have we done wrong?

6.      When your throne was under threat, Bor people stood with you through thick and thin till the end. We thought we were scratching the back of the man who would have our back scratched as the citizens of this country. .when will you ever stand up and be counted?

As i finish, i want you to form a committee to investigate the Gogrial killings and leave us alone.
Your administration termed Bor's demands for the return of their raided cattle and the future Tiger strong men, the 180 kids abducted, as a "national security threat." What nation without the people you want wiped out of their own land?
I hope you will understand this.

Your heartbroken former supporter,
JB"

  1. I beleive everything said by so called JB to the president have nothing in it and the person who has published this article has something wrong which must be corrected before ruining the status of this paper or media. A president does not belong to anyone but for all. We do understand that your media exaggeration of the current Bor - Murle fighting is seeking an intervention from some people. You mobilized youth from all your neighboring tribes and other youth from Anuak, Jie and others to accomplish your aims, does not mean anything to Murle. Remember how Murle battles with the government and if you really mean to fight you should not go for media, let's do it mosmos -birabira taba kanisa and see where we shall end. Bor you owe us a piece of land in Bor town and will not take us long to bring it back. What I know the weapons given to you by the gov't and then use of Division 8 is not a threat to your friends, Murle even if you mobilize all divisions we will blow you all. You should have asked president to give us time and an ok for 6 moons than narrating a story. President himself is a Dinka and all of you have something common. We want him even to join you in fight. After few days to come you gonna fine yourelves at the other side of the Nile. Edit it Mr, for all to read.Delta Delta Tango Alfa.(DDTA)
