Why Pagan Amum is suing Amira Ali for defaming him?

Mar 22, 2017 (The Jonglei Times)-Why Pagan Amum is suing Amira Ali for defaming him, since when personal reputation becomes so important to the so- called Pagan Amum.

Pagan has stolen millions of dollars from public funds is it not harming your reputation Pagan Amum?

Pagan Amum is suing Amira Ali for defamed him, I guess President Kiir will sue millions of people including Pagan Amum for stealing public, let pray for South Sudan not Amira Ali alone.

Amira Ali many videos have been hateful targeting Pagan Amum according to Pagan Amum supporters saying that Amira Ali has defamed Pagan without evidence they will ask her to provide evidence and to produce witnesses, so I guess Amira and her lawyer are ready to produces evidences explain how Pagan stole the money in South Sudan.

I urges South Sudanese government to sue Pagan too for stealing public funds during times in the government RSS.

I guess American legal laws don't works that way it is hard to understand if there was easy way of doing so.

Maybe Donald Trump would have sued those who put up Naked Statues of him and up to date still doing, not to mention the financial costs it might cost him since he is foreign figure. I’m sure he damned to fail the battle on Friday.

Pagan have destroyed the country and left for the USA to divided communities and at the same time intimated people to cover up his corruptions and hatred.

 Whoever to silence the voices of voiceless would not succeed. Pagan Amum will never win. He is living in the US as allied until he gets proper documents.

I know America is a country of free speech but there is difference between saying that Mr. X is a thief and Mr. Y policies are bad. 

If you don't like someone's policies and attack them that is free speech. But if you say Mr. A is a thief, the law will require you to prove that,  I think Amira Ali is well prepare to represent her evident to the court on Friday. 

Pagan he is using that excess to sue Amira Ali, who had nothing, but telling the true about Pagan and his in circle.

Since when did you gain common sense to care and think about your reputation? Do thieves really care about their reputations, walai yaki?

Stealing public funds is the green light that gives all of us to treat you as theft, Pagan because you have stolen our rights as citizens for your personal gains, period.

Who should be blamed Pagan is Mr. President Kiir Mayardit who protects thieves and punishes poor women and children in the country.

Those who are dying of hunger because their rights have been stole by some people like Pagan Amum.

If you forgive the fox for stealing your chickens, he will take your sheep next time…Pagan was forgiven…but now the theft is trying very hard to justify his stealing as self-defense against innocent people whom their rights have been stolen by him.

The law failed to punish Pagan Amum if laws are protecting thieves in the USA then you will win that useless case, Pagan.

Indeed, every South Sudanese has right to criticize Pagan on his political position on South Sudan crisis because he is a public figure and he is not immune from criticism.

However, according to Pagan Amum Supporters are sayings; when one begins to start making videos specifically on his corruption allegation; that crosses the line of what is deemed to be a criticism of political leaders, instead, it becomes defamation on his personality but Amira Ali denied that she never defamed Pagan saying that she was telling the truths.

Up until now, we are neither aware of any case filed by the government of South Sudan against Pagan on corruption nor are we aware of any Presidential decree pardoning him on corruption, So, people need to be careful here when pointing fingers.

I would expect a concerned citizen to ask the government in Juba why it is letting Pagan scot-free if there is evidence that he indeed looted public resources.

Otherwise, I do strong believe, common sense is not common, Pagan….Stop nonsense, for GOD’s sake.
